The FIRST CLASS PLUS is a car seat that grows with your child. Offering rearward facing safety from birth to 13 kg, forward facing safety from 9 kg through to 18 kg, featuring multiple recline positions to guarantee comfort for newborn sleepers or wriggly toddlers.

Extended protection and comfort for your baby

Comfortable and versatile enough for your growing child from birth all the way up to 18 kg (approximately 4 years), FIRST CLASS PLUS can be installed in a rearward facing position from birth to 13 kg and forward facing from 9 to 18 kg. The recline position and newborn insert provide additional comfort. As your baby grows, simply remove the insert to provide more space.

Quick-remove cover

Things can get pretty messy on the road. Drinks can spill and children can get car sick. That’s why Britax designed a machine washable seat cover that can easily be taken off without removing the harness, so you can clean up quick and get on your way. Newborn extra-comfort insert

Especially designed to give extra support to newborn babies. The included newborn insert allows babies to lie flatter in a comfortable, ergonomic position.

The performance chest pads provide comfort and reduce your child’s forward movement in a frontal collision with extra care and attention to the child’s delicate neck. They also help spread the forces from a frontal impact more evenly across your child’s shoulders and chest.

CLICK & SAFE® audible harness system It can be difficult to find the correct balance between too tight and too loose when securing a child in a harness, so we have developed CLICK & SAFE® the system that lets parents know when the child is harnessed correctly. When pulling the harness adjuster strap you´ll hear an audible click when your child is harnessed to the correct tension.

Deep, protective side wings

Our soft, padded side wings act as a protective cocoon that helps to absorb the force from a side impact, reducing the risk of injuries to your child.

5-point harness

We believe a 5-point harness is the safest way to secure your child in a car seat because it keeps your child safe and tight in the seat’s protective shell. In the event of a collision, the harness distributes the forces of the impact across 5 points, two at the shoulders, two at the hips and one where the harness buckles between the legs. This helps to protect your child from all directions of impact.

Belted:

This child car seat can be installed with the car´s 3-point seat belt. This option is handy if you will be transferring the car seat to different cars which may not all have ISOFIX anchorage points. Seat belt guides on the car seat will help you install the seat correctly. Check the vehicle owner´s manual for suitable seating positions and ask your local retailer for a test installation in your car (please ask for a member of staff trained by Britax Römer), before you buy the car seat.
