This yoga mat has become an essential part of my self-care routine. It’s where I come to recharge, reconnect with myself, and find peace amid life’s chaos.
Whether I’m practicing hot yoga or gentle stretches, this mat performs flawlessly. The sweat-resistant surface ensures a slip-free experience, allowing me to focus on my practice.
I practice yoga only at home so this mat is perfect to cushion my joints. It’s not sticky so I was worried I’d slip around too much and be unable to hold certain poses, but that hasn’t been the case. My hands and feet stay where I put them with no slipping. It’s long and it’s fairly wide so there’s a good surface to work on. It is not good for balance poses. Someday maybe I’ll work on using it for balance (as a challenge) but for now I step off the mat onto the floor. I’m not sure about its durability. As others mentioned, it has some micro tears and I’ve only been using it a week. They don’t seem to be getting any worse. I think they might be occurring because this isn’t a good mat for rolling up. I’m trying to find a spot to keep it unrolled and out of the way. If you practice at home this is a great mat to use but I’d keep another, thinner mat for heading to a class.
